Terms of Sale

We accept cash, checks, money orders, as well as Paypal, Visa, Discover and MasterCard. All books are in very good or better condition unless otherwise described. Books in wrappers (soft covers) and dust jackets may be slightly chipped. Owner's names, inscriptions or stamps and bookplates are not always noted. Items may be previously sold. We cannot always guarantee the item you order will be in stock. Books may be placed on reserve for ten days. Refunds may be issued if book is not as described and if it is returned in same condition originally shipped. A small re-stocking fee may apply. We make every effort to describe our books as accurately as possible.

Shipping Terms

Orders ship usually within two or three business days of date of order. Often they ship the same day. Occasionally, extra time is needed to locate a book. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your order is heavy or over-sized, we may contact you to request extra shipping. We ship at our cost.

Within the U.S.A, we ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) media mail, with delivery confirmation, unless another level of service or carrier is requested. Standard media mail shipping costs are $4.00 for the first book and $2 for each additional book. Media mail generally takes 5 to 14 days but has been known to take longer. Elsewhere, we ship as requested and at cost. California residents please add appropriate sales tax.

Please note that once your order is shipped, it is beyond our control. Your order's safe and timely arrival is the responsibility of the US Postal Service and, for international shipments, foreign postal services. We take every precaution to ensure your books are accurately addressed and professionally packed. We also use US Postal Service Delivery Confirmation whenever possible. In addition, you may request insurance, which will be billed at cost. We can also supply you with proof of shipment (delivery confirmation) on request.
